When Nick was in school, I was in school and we were both working full time, I quickly realized that unless we wanted to spend our paychecks on Wendy’s stock (and food) I needed some more dinner solutions. So, I started cooking ahead. I went through once a month cookbooks, freezer cookbooks, and studied what can freeze. I like to cook, so I don’t do it much anymore. I do still freeze cheese! And wontons. Wontons (Gyoza, Pot Stickers) are delicious but so time consuming that it makes no sense not to stock up.
Yum! I now have about 6 meals on ice. Who’s coming to dinner?
