My Clock

It was a wedding gift. I loved this clock. Sure it was big and bulky, but each hour had another picture that made me smile. My best friends, Nick’s best friends, our engagement pictures. To top it off we had a wedding picture right in the middle.

Sadly, my clock refuses to keep time anymore. No matter how many new batteries I try. Plus, it fell and broke the frame.

No more clock for me.

I keep singing “My grandfather’s clock” whenever I think about it. Which is often as I keep looking to the spot on the wall where it used to be when I want to know what time it is.
