Inspired by Pinterest: Fort

I love Pinterest. I’ve been a member for a long time. I love when I see something and go: Why didn’t I think of that? I also love all the pictures of recipes.

Here’s one of the “Why didn’t I think of that?” projects that I made:

Matthew has been into forts lately. I’ve been making them with blankets and the couch or chairs. Sadly, our chairs are not very well balanced for this, and tend to fall over.

A couple tension rods, an old sheet, and some sewing, and a ready made fort was built! The back is open, but it easily supports one of Matthew’s little blankets tossed down when he wants it. He likes it in the hallway or in his bedroom door. Luckily, the tension rods make it super simple to move the fort to either spot.

Please don’t mind the floor. It’s a work in slow progress.

You are so crafty and domesticated. I love all the things you do for Matthew! P.s. I missed you lots, so I’m glad I remembered I still had you on blogger and that your post to here was still there. Oh and I panicked for a minute when I saw I needed a password but then I saw I could scroll down and see all the “non password” posts 🙂 Miss you!
